Tip #1- Optimize page content around your choice of keywords. Keywords are words or phrases that have to do with your site for example: dog collars. There are lots of free keyword tools out there. Google has a good one. Perhaps insert them into the title of your page, or your domain name. We offer domain names, registration, and hosting. Make sure the keywords that you are trying to rank for are inside the meta tags of the coding of your webpages. Very important, do not skip this step. The spiders that crawl your site will report what they find.

Tip#2- Article submissions- Article submissions are important. You can have articles written for you or if you are a good writer you can write them yourself. Make sure the content of your articles have your keywords in them that you are trying to rank for. Within the submission process try to incorporate a couple links to your website in their. I recommend Ezine Articles for this process. Use about 15-20 keyword rich articles. I also recommend going to blogger.com or wordpress.com and getting a free blogging account. Onine Directories are a good place to get backlinks from because they allow you to post your website for free. There are thousands of online directories out there. For example: Imperial Directories. Directories are good because just like you they are trying to build their own page rank and when they do the backlinks to you become stronger. Tip #4- Press releases- Press releases are good because they can serve as a middle man for you and a way to get high ranked backlinks to your website that you might have to pay alot of money for. You can use some of your articles for this. This can be really beneficial to a new website being launched to get exposure and traffic. Tip #6- Link Bait- link bait simply means providing quality to your visitors to get a recommendation from them. It is like leaving a good impression on them so they want to tell others about you.
